Midwest Midwifery is a Certified Nurse-Midwife
practice affiliated with Midwest Women’s Healthcare, P.C. While
midwifery care is not new to Missouri, our practice is the only program
of its kind in the Kansas City area - one that operates as a separate
unit from physicians and has a separate office located on the Research
Medical Center Campus in Kansas City, Missouri. We also have offices at
Research Medical Center facilities in Belton and Lees Summit hospitals
as well as the Pavilion at North Kansas City Hospital.
The midwives at Midwest Midwifery are trained and
licensed as advanced practice nurses (APN) and certified nurse-midwives
(CNM).
